What we do
The RHS supports gardening and horticulture across the UK. Our charitable work is vital for the protection of plants, gardens and green spaces for future generations. With the support of our members, we are:
- Helping two million school children get into gardening with our RHS Campaign for School Gardening
- Supporting communities to get together and garden through Britain in Bloom
- Encouraging people to grow their own food through our Grow Your Own scheme.
- Running research projects, such as water use in containers, biodiversity in gardens and surveys on the spread of red lily beetle
