Help on hand
Sometimes, those of you living the Park Homes lifestyle may need a little advice and guidance on such items as site rights, selling, legislation and certain other legal related matters. Such help is on hand from organisations such as these.
IPHAS
The Independent Park Home Advisory Service is a voluntary organisation offering advice and information to anyone contemplating the Mobile/Park Home lifestyle or already living on a residential mobile home park.
The team members are residents who have studied mobile home legislation, all of whom have many years’ experience of advising residents and dealing with troublesome or unscrupulous Park owners.
IPHAS representatives also attend meetings with government and the All Party Parliamentary Group to discuss changes in legislation.
Membership is £5 per home per year, but if five or more homes on a Park are members with the owner acting as a distributor, then the fee is reduced to £4 per home.
IPHAS members are entitled to a 10% discount on their insurance premium with Towergate Bakers.
